Midgard Serpent

a pbem

Greetings, fellow gamers, and welcome to the Eternal Warriors pbem web site. This is a fantasy role-playing game using first edition AD&D rules. The players can play any hero from their past gaming careers, dead or alive, from disperate gaming worlds, or new characters altogether. The symbol for this game is the Midgard Serpent of Norse lore, aka the World Serpent, which stretches all the way around the world of Midgard to bite its own tail. (This is supposed to symbolize the endless lives of the Eternal Warriors, our characters, who are reincarnated over and over again by the Eternal Lords--all a rationale for playing our old characters again, and a potential plot device.)

In our first adventure, we are all members of the disbanded-but-recently-reunited Company of the Thorn, an Eternal Warriors reincarnation of the Company of the Horn.

The game is set in the Wurld, a fantasy world with borrowed elements from various sources. This is a private non-commercial site.
