Turn Eighty-Four
Story Two
Brief Recap: Last turn, went under the boat and eventually made it on deck, and Bibi feebleminded Sylphie and saved her from drowning. Blade has a machete, Bruce has his axe, and Mog stands near a door from below deck, very wet.
Duel or Dance?
Bruce capers on the deck, singing his improvised shanty, as Blade scans the deck onto which he has just climbed. He pulls a machete from a wooden rail, looking for something better. There are still several fighters on the deck, though some of them have lost their weapons overboard, and all are prone from the boat's rocking. The boat has smoothed its motion toward shore now, as Bibi is relatively still with respect to the boat, hovering west of it, driving it toward shore.
The fighter closest to Blade [to Blade's right, see the battlemap, below] has a longsword still in his scabbard. The fighter has lost his shield, and is in the process of standing. Three of the remaining eight fighters still have weapons, including the one closest to Blade.
The gargoyle from Gayrlana's mercenaries lights atop the broken mast, the jagged end of which stands about eight feet above the deck of the ship. The monster scans the situation, apparently confused as to what it should do.
