Midgard Serpent

Turn Fifty-Eight

Story One: Epilogue...

Brief Recap: The company recently made their way to Heklamar after their journey from the Top of the Wurld, where they drove off Thae-Rune Ibn and destroyed the mountain hall of the fire giants. The King awarded them title and lands and other rewards.

The company also fought a demon come to retrieve the Crown and Scepter of Acererak, which Humphrey had brought out of the tomb whence they retrieved the Obsidian Stone.

The Separation

A crowd has gathered in the common room at the noise from the combat outside. The demon had fled, invoking the name of its master, escaping the power of the crown as wielded by Humphrey. The entire party had felt that terrible power when first Humphrey had used it. Literally everything within the range of Humphrey's voice had frozen upon his mere utterance of the word, "Stop." Luckily, only the characters who had been outside were affected or witnessed his use of the crown.

Now Humphrey sits in his room, alone finally, after weeks of living in close quarters with the rest of the party. No roomates to watch what he was doing. He drew the Book of Boccob from its leather sack and carefully opened it. It was empty, but he would soon fill it with his own spells. He needed a travelling spellbook, as his main spellbook would have to be expanded to include his most recent spell finds, and would be too large (and valuable) to bring along on adventures.

Humphrey hears a scratching at his door, and puts away his things before answering it, hiding the crown and scepter in a wooden case he had bought that day for them.

As he does so, he notices an insect biting him. He brushes it away, thinking the insects have recently gotten worse around here.

He opens the door to see Mog. "May I speak to you?" he asks.

Humphrey lets him in and closes the door. "What do you intend to do with the crown? It plain that the crown be an artifact of great power. Surely Humphrey sees that. Mog fears the demon will return for it."

"I intend to keep it safe, for now and study it. I realize it wields great power, but contrary to the opinion of all of you, I am not the power monger everyone sees. I am but an instrument in the grand design, as are the rest of you, including that scoundrel Blade, though his role cannot be for the good of things, or so I would surmise. Beyond that, dear cleric, I cannot say except this: I know this crown has a role to play in the coming storm, and there is one coming, be sure. WE have unbalanced the space-time continuum; Thae Rune Ibn is still alive; and, your dear sweet Bibi, for all her audacity and youthful naivety has a great role yet to play in the scheme of the grand design. This crown did not fall into our hands by accident..." He pauses, then continues. "It has a mind and will of its own. I intend to protect the party from it, until it is proper to give it to its rightful owner, whomever we discover that to be. As for the demons, we surely cannot allow them to capture it. Who else amongst us, except perhaps yourself, wields the power to protect such a relic from the demons? And you are already charged with protecting the Stone-bearer. Fear not, I have no intention of using the artifact in a dishonorable fashion. I know its power. I fear it, as you do."

Mog nods, squinting into Humphrey's face, trying to read what he can

from the mage's features. He leaves, saying, "Mog does not know for what purpose the Crown has come to us, but its maker must have been evil. Who else chooses demons to guard their treasures?" Humphrey notes that the demon who first attacked the party in the street appeared to be a powerful one, for it summoned another demon by itself.

Mog leaves.

Later that night, as Humphrey lies in bed, he notices again that the bugs in this place are particularly bad. Moquitoes bite him endlessly, until he kills what must be a dozen of them. Eventually, he falls into a fitful, itchy sleep...

Blade and Fyona...

Blade and Fyona ride south. Blade studies Fyona, who is riding slightly

ahead of him, as she lifts the hair off of her neck and applies the magic balm to the tattoo on her neck. Her body language triggers in Blade, not for the first time, the strange feeling of familiarity about her. As is f he had met her before. .[we can forget my much earlier post about how Blade was able ot tell that Fyona had trained with the Lady Bloodsword with only seeing one swipe of her sword] Then, as she lets her hair fall back down and straightens herself in the saddle, it hits him...Gayrlana, the Lady Bloodsword! It was not so much a physical resemblance, though Blade could certainly see that now since he had made the connection, as it was similar mannerisms between the two women. Hindsight being what it is, Blade realizes that Fyona's and Gayrlana's swordplay was nearly identical, at least from what he could recall...it was over 10 winters ago since he had last seen or heard from the Lady Bloodsword or any of the Mindulgulph (spelling?) Mercenary Company of which he had been a member for a short, but adventurous time.

He nudges his horse to bring him side by side with Fyona as they ride at an easy pace. "So...." Blade begins, "have you ever heard of Gayrlana, the Lady Bloodsword? I only ask because your swordplay bears a striking similarity to hers..not to mention you are both as beautiful as you are dangerous. "

When Blade starts his inquiry Fyona feels a bit of nervousness. She thought she might eventually tell him but his previous statement so angers her that she snaps back at him "No. I've never heard of her." She can't stand the thought of being compared to her mother. In her opinion Gayrlana was far from beautiful.

"You also share her temper. I certainly meant meant no offense by paying you compliment. Do you become flattered by criticiism as well?" Blade doesn't belive her and for whatever reason, he was sure she was lying to him. He decides not to press the matter for now. It was a long journey and he didin't feel like bickering. He thinks it best to change the subject.

Fyona feels compelled to tell Blade what things her mother has said about him. On a few occasions when word of Blade's great exploits would reach the Mercenary Company, Gayrlana would find it irresistible to make an ill comment such as 'dumb luck has saved him again' or 'his sword is small but very fast' about Blade. A few of the members that had been Blade's friends had told her is confidence that these were the words of a scorned woman.

As Blade rambles on Fyona decides that she will not reveal herself yet.

"Did I ever tell you how I came by the nickname of Blade?" knowing that he hadn't, he continues. "I was born into a wealthy merchant family. My father wanted me to take over teh family business when I was old enough. I, on the other hand, had far more exciting ideas about what I should do with my life. I wanted to become an adventurer. My father was understandly against this notion of mine and it caused many a heated argument between us. Eventually I struck out on my own in the middle of the night and never looked back. Cut off from my family fortune I had to learn to survive any way i could, thus I became a rogue. My father had taught me the value of fine things, such as furnishings and jewelry, and it was fairly easy for me to acquire these things illicitly and sell them on the street for money. I had to live by my wits, which became sharp as a blade, to survive. That is how I originally came by the name of Blade, most people assume it is due to my swordsmanship, but that came later. Maybe someday I'll tell you my real name."

"Is it Myron, you look like a Myron," Fyona laughs.

Blade looks positevely amazed. "Astounding!" he says sarcastically." You figured it out on your first guess. Tell me, have you ever heard of the Lady Sylphia? I only ask because she too shared your amazing powers of insight. Of course she is a witch. Hopefully her powers will not make her aware of my plans. That fat bastard husband of hers needs no foreknowledge of our arrival. Bruce is the one who sent Thaddius after Bibi and I. I suppose Thaddius is among the living again. I wonder if he remembers me decapitating him? If not I'm sure I can remind him is need be."

Fyona can't believe that he is comparing her to another woman and this one is a witch. She cuts her horse hard to the right. Circling behind Blade draws her sword and smacks his horse with the flat of the sword and screams "Yiiiyiiiyiiii." Watching him bounce around she laughs so hard she almost falls herself.

[i would like for him to have to make a roll to stay on]

[and I would like a roll to see if Blade was taken by surprise or not. duelists are only surprised on 1 in 6, so there is a good chance he would have been aware of Fyona's intentions. if so then, he would definitely take maneuvers to prevent this from happening. ]

Blade and the horse are headed straight for a large lake that sits on the side of the trail. Blade can be heard repeatedly screaming "Whoa!" at the horse to no avail. Then, just as teh horse is about to gallop into the water, it finally decides to listen to Blade's command. The horse stops so abruptly that it sends Blade flying forward off of the horse's back and into the lake with a large splash.

Fyona is laughing hysterically as Blade pulls himelf out of teh lake soaking wet. He takes a theatrical bow, then throws down one of his soggy gauntlets. "This seems as good a time as any to engage in our first duel of the month. That is if you can stop laughing long enough to cross swords with me." he draws his sword and waits for the lady to dismount.

"Are you sure," Fyona replies trying to hold back her smile. "You look a little weighted down."

She jumps from her horse drawing her weapon to meet his.

"Oh I'm positive. There's nothing I'd rather do than put you in your place right now. Ready? On guard!" he says rushing in for an attack.

[A short summary of the duel me and Anne did over the phone this morning. Anne feel free to add anything I may have left out..]

Fyona is ready for the attack and is able to strike before Blade does. She quickly makes two succesful attacks with her rapier ( 19 damage)before Blade counterattacks twice with his longsword. (32 damage).

Blade strikes again with his longsword (18 dmage) but on a second attempt Fyona traps his sword in her main guache causing Blade to be disarmed (Blade rolled a 1 fumbling his second attack). Blade continues fighting with his short sword and Fyona drops her main gauche so as not to give herslf a two weapon advantage over Blade, despite the fact that he had been cheating by using a magic weapon. She strikes again with her rapier (13 damge)

Fyona presses her attack landing one of teh two blows aimed at Blade ( 12 dmage). Blade is able to counteraatcck with his short sword landing two succesful hits against Fyona (26 total)

Maintaining the momentum of his attack Blade succesfully attacks and slips inside Fyona's defenses pressing the tip of his short sword against her throat. Knowing she has been bested Fyona follows dueling protocol and surrenders by dropping her rapier. (Blade did an additional 26 pts of damage, succesfully subduing Fyona)

Blade leans in close with his sword still at the ready, gives Fyona a quick kiss on the lips, then shoves her into the lake. "No hard feelings, m'lady." he says with a giant grin.

[Since we were using subdual combat, Blade took 11 real hit points of damage and Fyona took 25 real points of damage]

Pulling herself out of the water "don't think I haven't noticed that your sword is magic. Next time we shall follow protocol for weapon selection."

"If it will make you feel better about your future losses then I certainly understand, but I'm fairly sure the end result will be the same." he says while pulling some dressings from his saddlebag. "For now , please accept my aplolgies. I was angry and broke protocol. We can discount the result if you feel strongly about it, though I must insist that the kiss stand, since it relied on magic of another sort."

Changing the subject by motioning to the dressings, he says, "We both have some minor cuts that need attending to and it is nearly lunchtime. This seems a good place to dry out and have a bite to eat. I brought along some of the better menu items from the inn we stayed at in Heklamar. They won't keep past today I'm afraid, so this may be our last decent meal for awhile. At least until we reach another town." Blade produces several delicious food items from the Inn as well as a jug of their finest wine.

The food from the Inn causes Blads to recall the battle with the demon they had shortly before leaving Heklamer. "I was just thinking...if I ever run into Humphrey again I may have to kill him. I made a serious error in judgement when I freed him from his braindeath. Ever since the battle with the demon, these things have become more clear to me."

"You're right. Who does he think he is any way?" Fyona stands to do her impression of Humphrey "Oh, is that magic. Well, I'll take that and I'm sure I should have that too. What could anyone else possibly have to do that is more important than my greed?"

Fyona sets back down a takes a long draw from the bottle of wine hoping it will calm her fiery temper. Wiping the drip from her mouth she finishes "I hate that greedy old bastard."

"Yes. He is an arrogant ass, even more than the rest of his fellow magic users. Ordering us about! Controllong our minds! Promise me you'll help me dispatch him if he ever shows his damnable face near us again!" says Blade, his intensity increasing with each word.

Not hearing an immediate response, Blade, who is still quite agitated with the thought of Humphrey, barks, "Well do you promise or not? I can do it alone if I have too. "

Blades agitation catches Fyona a little off guard. "I agree with your sentiment but your planned actions seem a bit drastic. I mean...I do hate him but...I don't know. We should maybe think about this for a while."

"Bah! The less time I spend thinking about the mage the better." says Blade venomously, then his agitation suddenly switches targets. "Why are you lying to me about Gayrlana? To say that you have never heard of the most infamous swordswoman in the realms is utterly ridiculous. What are you hiding? Why are you trying to deceive me?" Blade glares at Fyona with an intense suspicion.

Fyona has only seen Blade this angry once before, and that had been with Humphrey after he had abandoned them in the Tombs. He had never raised his voice at her before, let alone view her with such obvious anger and contempt. Prior to now, the worst he had done was make a few sarcastic remarks at her expense. It was not like him to behave towards her in this manner.

Fyona replies with a sarcastic tone. "I believe you have noticed that I am a woman and women do not like to be compared to other women. Especially ones with such ridiculous nicknames like Bloodsword."

Blade's anger begins to ebb away as his thoughts leave Humphrey, though his words still contain a good deal of venom. "That is the LADY Bloodsword, and whether you think it ridiculous or not, it is a very well earned name. I was wrong to compare you to her..I never could have bested her in a duel on my best day. Even with the help of a magical sword. The same cannot be said of you. You pale in comparison to her, in more ways than one. So keep your secrets, play your charade, enjoy your ruse for all it's worth, but be warned if it is with ill intent towards me you will regret it. "

Fyona's temper has reached its breaking point. She begins gathering her things. "My past should be none of your concern and I would have thought that you would have decided if you trusted me before you made me your partner. But I see now that that choice wasn't made from trust or confidence in my abilities."

She feels the pools forming in her eyes as she mounts her horse. Her mother had never shown her any approval of her skill or of anything else. She thinks of telling him about her mother but decides against it. She never allowed Gayrlana to see the hurt it caused and she'll be dammed if she'll give Blade the satisfaction.

Fyona's voice cracks as she speaks "I should go now."

"Good riddance!" says Blade angrily as he gathers his things as well. Then, as he picks up his sword from where it fell during the duel, a strange sensation comes over him. "Wait!" he shouts, "You mean me no harm. That much at least I am sure of now. I am sorry for my cruel words, they were driven by fear, something I am not accustomed to experiencing. I don't know why I behaved so abominably towards you. I know I ask a great deal in seeking your forgiveness, but I sincerly hope you can find it in your heart to do so. Please stay."

As Blade begins to speak Fyona turns back to face him. "What is wrong with you?"

"I'm not sure. Maybe it is the wine, but I don't think so. I've been having a bit of a crisis of faith since our journey through time. I've always belived in random chance and luck, not fate or destiny, but certain things have occured which contradict my beliefs. It's almost as if things are occuring by design, rather than chance. Too many grand coincidences. Perhaps it was Fate, rather than Luck, that things occured they way they did? It confuses me and makes me unsure of things. I'm afraid that my uncertainty will get me killed. If I do not have faith in the Lady Luck then she will not honor me with her favor. I mean do you think it was chance that we met not once but twice...for the very first time? "

"I don't think fate had anything to do with it. It was magic but not fate. Otherwise it should have happened the first time." She finishs, "If anything we changed the so called Grand Plan."

"Or maybe we just put things back on the Grand Plan. Maybe Chaos somehow derailed Destiny for a bit and we had to go back and fix it. Or maybe we were suppposed to travel back in time all along for some reaon"

Blade rubs his temples. Thinking about such things always seem to lead to headaches. "One thing I do know, is that I am sorry for the things I said and would very much like you to forgive me...and whether it be Fate or Luck that leads you to your decision I'll honor it either way." he sits down on a log and makes a half hearted grin at her. His posture appears exhausted and resigned to defeat, not like his usual overly confident mannerisms and boast.

Fyona's mood begins to lighten "Neither will get you off that easily."

Taking her mood as a positive sign, Blade resumes the playful tone Fyona had become familiar with "So you have decided to torture me by witholding your forgiveness? What will it take to win back your good graces? Candy? Flowers? Perfume? A sonnett perhaps?" Blade breaks into a horrible off key version of a popular love sonnett. Seeing Fyona wince at his awful singing, he stops momentarily and says, "I know a thing or two about torture as well, all you have to do is forgive me and I'll stop singing" He then resumes his song. "Babee babee I'd get down on my knees for yoooooooou! If you would only love me like you used to doooooo! We had a love, a love, a love you don't find every daaaaaay! So babeeeee! Babeeeeee! Babeeeeeee! Don't let it slip awaaaaaaay!"

"You aren't going to gain my forgiveness with that..." Fyona finds it difficult to come up right word to express how bad his singing is and how corny the song is, "crap, but you have covinced me that it is time to go."

"Very well then, hold your grudge, but you'll feel awful if something bad happens to me and you haven't forgiven me." Blade says while mounting his horse. Blade begins singing a different song as they return to the trail. "Oh Fee-Oh-Na! Oh don't you cry for meeeeee! Well I'm off to Vulvania with a longsword on my kneeeeee!"

Meanwhile...

In the southern cityof [wherever Bruce lives], the town crier stands upon a crate and begins an annoncemnt. "Hear ye! Hear Ye! A reward of 1000 gold pieces is being offered by the generous merchant Bruce Tyrlan for teh succesful apprehension of the scoundrel mercenery known as Blade, for crimes involving theft of personal property. Interested parties can obtain further details at teh Dew Drop Inn where Master Tyrlan will be conducting business for the next day."

Dravma, the half-orc traveling priest of Omni-Fal hears the announcement and considers the words. Avarice had no doubt driven the one called Balde to engage in theft. Avarice was among teh most rampant of the sins taht Dravma had promised Omni-Fal to abolish. The wicked must be punished. He makes his way to the Dew Drop Inn and inquires as to the wherabouts of Bruce Tyrlan. noting the response he makes his way to teh common room and approaches teh one indicted as Bruce Tyrlan.

"I am Dravma, priest of Omni-Fal. I wish to offer my services in the search for the one called Blade. I will require no compensation. Ridding the world of sin and serving my God is it's own reward."

Bruce notes that the cleric carries a large two handed sword. Very strange. He was under the impression that holy men were forbiden to use edged weapons.

Bibi and Mog...

A few days later Bibi and Mog land on top of hill overlooking the lake where the temple is to be built. The sky is clear and the moon is almost full.

[Note I changed it to a few days instead of "later that night." The journey, even made flying, is a long way, several hundred miles. And I am not sure how long we can stay transformed each day. They could fly as long as they could, maybe at night, then make camp and hide during the day. They are trying to hide their trail and be seen by as few people as possible.]

"The full moon is only a night away" Bibi says to Mog looking up at the sky. "It had no effect on me during the last cycle. But I would understand if you don't want to be alone with me tomorrow night."

Mog says, "Mog will stay and keep watch. The full moon is holy to Mog, we will watch her course together."

After they setup camp Bibi first casts Commune with Nature so that she knows the land that is now her. Then she starts the meditation that Mog has taught her. She is hoping that she will be able to reach her totem. Previously, it has always just appeared.

Her communion tells her that another druid has been here recently (within a year), passing through. He was a friend to the land, and he awakened some of the trees. Bibi can hear them whispering while she Communes.

Her Commune also tells her that there are hostile creatures living in this forest as well, though she does not know exactly what kind or how many. Overall, the forest is healthy and vibrant.

An indeterminable time passes when, she is startled by the sound of large wings flapping, as if the bird were coming in for a landing. Bibi opens her eyes and sees the swan in the lake below. She can immediately tell that he is please with this place. She walks down to the water to meet him.

Before she reaches the shore she is overwhelmed by a vision. It is of her father, but not as she remembers him, but as of what he might look like today. But as quickly as it appeared it is now gone and the swan is flying away.

Bibi climbs back up the hill and sets down in front of Mog waiting for him to acknowledge her presence.

The orc is meditating or praying, but he stops as soon as Bibi approaches.

She tells Mog of her vision and about her suspicion. "It is said that my father was overcome with lust for the stone and that in this delirious state he ate the stone and that after that the he was consumed by the stone from within. They said that the stone no longer existed as an object, just as a curse which was passed on to me. But here is the stone." The stands up and begins to pace about in excitement, "So, what parts of this story are or is any of it true. I had suspected that after the stone was taken from my father that he was not able to control his changing so the tribes people killed him just as they had planned to with me. But maybe he's not dead at all." She continues zigzagging about as her head fills with thoughts of where her father might be and of who might be holding him.

Mog says, "Maybe the Stone can help somehow. If Bibi's father held it, it may still remember him."

Bibi replies "I do not intend to ever use the obsidian stone directly. I believe that if I did that would be the last of me."

Later that night... Bibi has been laying down for several hours but has been unable to sleep. I seem to her that she has been given a whole new life. One that may turn out well instead of one that is cursed. She has been thinking about what she can do with this place and the animals that can take sanctuary here. But she is troubled by who will care for the place. Even if Azriel comes and agrees to stay he cannot do it alone. Mog told her that other druid would come but when and how many. 'I can't just wait.'

Bibi whisper as she sits up "Mog are you sleeping" but he is not there. She knows that he rarely sleeps at night but she can see him anywhere. "MOG" escapes her in a screamed panic whisper.

A gecko lizard scrambles into view, a large bug in its mouth, and quickly transforms into the orc shaman.

"I'm sorry. I was scared when I didn't see you."

In reply, Mog finishes chewing the bug.

"I just wanted to talk to you about going to see Krulek in the morning. I was thinking about asking him for his help protecting this place and if any of his people would want to help cultivate the land or care for the animals? I know what people say and think about orcs. But Krulek and his people were very kind to me and..."

[Anne, Mog is a full blooded orc. But he is not from around here, and he is still very different than the orcs of this land. So you may want to repost this next part or revise it.]

Bibi tries to think very hard before she speaks. She has never heard Mog speak about being hostilities between humans and orcs or the differences between him and the other orcs. She definitely doesn't want to offend him. "Well, and then there's you. Without you I would be nothing." She pauses thinking these words may sound to strong. "At least I wouldn't be here with all of these opportunities without your help. So, what do you think."

Mog says, "Mog believes Krulek is honorable, and crafty. He is a good leader for his people. Mog believes King Ozrik sent Bibi here in part to make friendship between the orcs and humans. So Mog thinks it wise to meet with Krulek. Among Krulek's people are both mountain and forest orcs. The woodlore of the forest orcs is only surpassed by the elves. They would make good allies."

"I'm glad you thinks so. If you'll come with me we'll go see Krulek tomorrow." Bibi is also glad that Mog did not seem to take offense.

Bibi is finally able to fall a sleep. She dreams of the crops that will grow on this land and the animals that will come to live here.

The next day Bibi and Mog travel as birds to the near by area where they were told they would find the orcs. They fly overhead and locate community at the opening of a cave. Deciding it would be safer to take human form further from the settlement so as not to sneak up on anyone. They circle back and land.

Soon they encounter three orcs caring spears. Bibi waits for Mog to address them. She did pick up quite a bit of the orc language but since she does not recognize any of these men she feels Mog will probably hand the situation better.

Entering the cavern that seems to be what Krulek has fashion his chamber they see him seated on a make shift throne of twisted bark. The sight of him sitting there looking so in control makes Bibi smile. She boughs before him. "It is wonderful to see you again. I have brought you a gift." Bibi pulls from her pocket a silk pouch that she unfolds to reveal the large emerald that was found in the tomb.

"I have come to tell you that we will be neighbor the king has given me the land to the north of here to build a temple. For now Mog and I are here alone. I would as always, be in your debt if you were to share with us any dangers that you have encountered in this area and let use know if you detect any changes."

"I plan to cultivate the land and shepherd herds that will yield milk and wool. If any of your people would care to help in this adventure they would be well provided for. Regardless, any excess that is produced will be a your disposal."

Krulek stands from his throne, and says loudly, "Gather all the People, we are visited by the great heroes I have spoken of. Bibi and Mog have returned to us!" Several of the orcs in the chamber cheer, and Bibi recognizes them from her stay in the steading.

Krulek accepts the gift of the emerald, his eyes widening as Bibi offers it. "Truly, Bibi is a friend to the People." [Bibi remembers the orcs used to refer to all orcs as "The People."]

Bibi and Mog stay with Krulek, at his invitation, for a great feast that night. The orc hunters have venison aplenty, as well as feral hog meat from pigs that have escaped the human farmers to the south and begun populating the area. Bibi is pleased at how well the orcs are doing.

Krulek pays special attention to Bibi, though he does show Mog great respect as well. But he hangs around Bibi as much as possible, enjoying her company.

The next evening, after they have returned back to the forest, as Bibi and Mog set atop the hill watching the moon make it path across the sky she decides to enlist the help of the animals that dwell in the surrounding forest. Bibi calls to her the animal of the night. Minutes later, she sees the flickering of seven sets of coyote eyes approaching from the woods and hears the squeaks of dozen of bats in the tree above. She sends a message to the animal. Asking for their protection and knowledge of intruder in the land. She then gather up the scraps and bones from her and Mogs dinner and takes them to the coyotes and then goes under the tree and draws her dagger. She makes a small cut vertically acrossed her arm. As the blood pool on the dirt she thinks about how she has seen Mog do things like this but not to feed any animal she could see. She wonders why he does that.

As both the coyotes and the bats gather around the offerings she has made she realizes that she was unprepared and her notes to herself that tomorrow night she should have more to offer.

Posting Instructions:I will get a battle map up tonight, so you can all see where you are in the room. We all have our equipment and other items just as we did in Egmund's room in Galay, as the Githyanki invaded, just before Bibi caused the Time Machine to activate by putting the Stone in it. You all remember your pasts, the whole timeline we have played out over the past several months. In other words, they have full memory. Hit points, spells, everything is as it was last turn, NOT as it was in Turn 34.
