Come, experience the multi-media EXTRAVAGANZA that is the
Session 1: 7.27.02 The first adventure happened on July 27, 2002, via telephone. It was set in Aelgard, a few years after our old campaigns occurred. Brian Dungeon Mastered, and the players were Micah as Cormac MacBraun, Anne as Sillia, Rob as Kao (all four of them at Micah's), Keith (in Savannah) as Uri the plate mail fighter, and Fonkin Hoddypeak played by Patrick (from Dallas). The company was sitting drinking in Ghotu's Flagon when a soldier of Melruk's posted a call for adventurers. The various characters answered the call for various reasons, and Melruk put them together as a company to carry out his mission: go into the Axkiss Mountains, and discover what is behind the increasing goblin raids of late. The company did not make it that far, as they encountered a large war party early in their trip, in the foothills. They killed the advance scouts, then drove back the main body of the war party, which included ogres and mountain trolls. Kao was nearly killed, but managed to survive. The company returned to Melruk's Keep.
Session 2: 9.7.02 Another telegaming session, with the same characters and players minus Robert L. Rittel/Kao. Melruk again hired the company, this time to go on a raid into the southern mountains to attack a Githyanki (!?) outpost and recover a particular diamond, which was used for communication by the Gith. The company was successful, and escapes the Gith complex with little trouble. They killed several Gith on the raid, including the two highest ranking. The company returned to Melruk's Keep, ready for more.
